Cline appeared alongside other acting giants In the multi-nominated film, including Nicole Kidman and Russell Crowe. That year, she landed the role that would become her staple, as Sarah Cameron in Netflix's "Outer Banks."
The show premiered in 2020, and as it aired, Cline's fanbase grew exponentially. However, with that fame, she fell under the scrutinous eye of the Hollywood spotlight. Toward the end of that year, fans began speculating if she'd done plastic surgery on her face.

Madelyn Cline Is a Young Actress Who Started as a Child Model
Cline drew her first breath in Charleston, South Carolina, on December 21, 1997. She grew up in Goose Creek, and at 10, she started traveling to and from New York to do commercial print work and advertisements.
With her parents' full support, she then moved to on-screen commercials. Cline said her parents were on board because the money she earned went toward her college fund. She continued modeling in her teens until the time came for her to leave for college.

Cline continued doing auditions while studying, but balancing school with her demanding career became challenging. Then, much to her parent's dismay, she dropped out of college at 19 and followed her heart into the acting industry.

This was after landing a small part in "Stranger Things," opposite Sadie Sink, Finn Wolfhard, and Gaten Matarazzo. Though she was soon overcome with doubts, Cline kept going and found her footing as a performer.
Now, at 25, the actress is thriving; she recently attended the premiere of Season 3 of "Outer Banks" in Los Angeles. Still, as the world witnesses the accumulation of her success, it is not without a few naysayers attacking her looks.

Madelyn Cline's Plastic Surgery Seems to Be Just a Rumor
The speculation began toward the end of 2020 when a Reddit post depicting before and after photos of Cline's supposed plastic surgery went viral. The Reddit user alleged that Cline had done lip fillers and a non-surgical nose job; however, fans of the "Knives Out" star soon came to her defense.

The said supporters shut the rumor down, citing several pictures of Cline as a child that proved she'd always had plump lips and distinctly high cheekbones. It's also unknown if the woman in the pictures is actually Cline, and the "Boy Erased" star has yet to respond.
Moreover, the illusion of higher cheekbones and fuller lips is easily achievable with the right make-up and skill. And Cline is quite knowledgeable about beauty tips and hacks, often sharing her expertise and even her skincare routine.

Cline would awake at 5 a.m. every morning to do rigorous cardio and limited her food intake unhealthily, convinced she had to attain the "ideal" body. The then-adolescent struggled with her self-image but eventually realized she was harming her body.
That's when her mom stepped in, advising her to focus on the parts of her body she favored the most. Gradually, Cline came to appreciate every aspect, including her hips and curves. She once said that her experience with these insecurities helped her deliver an authentic performance of Sarah Cameron.
