A B2 First qualification shows that you can:

While the Code Council does not require prerequisites to take an exam, it is highly unlikely that someone with little knowledge of the codes or profession will pass an exam.

Practice tests will also help you get thoroughly familiar with the code books and sections. It's a move that will increase your chances of passing your ICC contractor exam and acquiring the coveted contractor license. The rule of thumb here is to do as many of those mimic test questions as possible.

The B2 Commercial Building Inspector Certification exam is an open-book exam. The exam consists of 80 multiple-choice questions and requires a minimum passing score of 75 percent.
