Henry Rae, a single man, age 34 and stone cutter by trade, residing at Saturna Island, British Columbia, Canada in the World War 1 Canadian Expadition Forces Attestation Papers. He had previously served for 6 years in the 9th Scots Royal Volunteers in Scotland.[6]
RAE, Private, HENRY, 706249, 29th Bn., Canadian Infantry (British Columbia Regiment). Died at sea en route to Canada, on H.M.A.T "Essequibo" 18 June 1919.[7][8]
